About a month in advance is best. Our moving and packing schedule fills up quickly. Prepare early to give yourself the best chance at securing your most preferred moving and packing date.
Yes, our highly trained and long tenured experienced crew will bring all tools required to quickly disassemble and reassemble any furniture needed to get your move completed.
Clothing is fine to leave in the drawers, however small items such as jewelry, change, pens etc. must be removed before moving. We will tip dressers on their side while dollying them. Small items can fly out from the tops of the drawers. We will wrap and protect the dresser ensuring it doesn’t open during transportation.
The more prepped and ready to go your belongings are the faster and cheaper your move will be. Pack everything you can and clearly label boxes on their side. Disassemble furniture and put all hardware in a labeled ziplock bag. Any items you can transport in your vehicle will make move day quicker and save you money.
If your crew takes a lunch break that time will be deducted from your final invoice. Most movers bring a lunch and will eat on the road. Completing your move fast is our top priority.
We will protect and move washers, dryers, refrigerators, and stoves, however we do not disconnect or reconnect any water or gas lines. Please have all appliances disconnected when we arrive for quicker service.
Living in the Houston area we are always faced with unpredictable weather. If you would like to reschedule your move we will accommodate you. If the weather is unsafe to move or travel, we may need to postpone it. We wrap all furniture, but in a bad storm some items could still get wet.
After disassembly our experienced moving team will cover your belongings using commercial grade moving blankets. We supply shrink wrap at no additional cost. We will use wrap to protect, and secure your furniture. Your belongings will be placed in the moving truck and strapped down with care. Our movers are trained and highly experienced.
If we are packing your home we will bring everything needed. We sale only the moving supplies we use, or we can use your supplies. If you are packing on your own please visit Half Price Boxes. They have a wide selection of everything you will need.
When you book your move with Haulin’ Movers a $100 deposit will be required. Once your move is completed you can pay the remaining balance via cash or card.
Everyone does something different. Some folks dont tip and thats just fine. We are more than grateful and blessed for the work. If you would like to tip please do what you feel is appropriate for the level of care and hard work you’ve received. If you pay your final balance on card there is an option on there to tip. All tips will be split between your crew.
